Commonly Asked Gala Questions


Attend the event and encourage your friends to as well! Tickets go on sale 2/19/20. $200 is the cost for a reserved ticket. $250 is a premium ticket with butler service for your table. Ticket price includes drinks, food, valet parking, and afterparty entertainment. 

Donate an item for the auction. We have fantastic live and silent auctions because of your connections!  Please consider donating or requesting an item from your contacts. Examples are gift cards to businesses you frequent, a small dinner party at your home, use of a vacation home, tickets to a concert, photography or art sessions, unique experiences. 

Make a donation to support GSA students and faculty. Outright donations to support the GSA can be made in person at the event during the Fund a Need portion of the night, online, or by contacting the development office.

Send an honored guest to the event. You can purchase tickets or a table for faculty, staff, and 8th grade students to attend the event. 


Buy tickets online: purchase online and include your meal preference. Tickets will go on sale on 2/19/20

Ticket discounts are available for families receiving financial assistance at GSA. Contact the development office for information. 

Seating requests: If you have a group you want to be seated with, please note other guest names or come up with a name for your table (only used for seating purposes.) Please plan to all buy the same level tickets ($200 reserved or $250 premium). Your class liaison can assist you as well. 

Tables seat 8 people. Tables are set for 8 but can accommodate up to 10 people.  


6 PM: cocktail hour & peruse student artwork
7 PM: begin seating in ballroom
7 PM – 9 PM: Dinner & Program. Program includes student readings, Live Auction, Fund a Need for GSA, and graduating 8th graders are recognized.
9-11 PM: Afterparty with dancing and live music
