Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA)
While the Girls’ School of Austin does not participate in the Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA) program, we are proud to offer robust, need-based Tuition Assistance. We encourage families who may benefit from assistance to apply.
Required Annual Registration Fee
$1000 (Due with signed contract)

One-Time New Student Fee
One-time fee for all new entering students: $3,200 (Due with signed contract). Non-refundable.
Tuition and Program fees
Tuition and program fees cover all expenses except piano instruction, lunches, health screening, uniforms, After Care, and other optional activities for which the school incurs an additional expense.
Tuition and program fees may be paid annually, semi-annually, or in ten monthly installments.

Other Fees
These fees are not included in the Tuition and Program Fees and are billed as used:
Health screening (In 2025-26, this fee was $55)
This fee covers state-mandated vision/hearing screenings required for students in grades K, 1, 3, 5 and 7 and all students new to GSA. Screenings may also be performed by a physician outside the school at a cost specified by the physician and student’s insurance.
Lunch program (Cost varies, billed monthly)
Parents may order lunch for selected days from a menu distributed monthly.
Aftercare
- 2-day option Monthly Plan = $600/semester/student (~$15/day)
- 3-day option Monthly Plan = $900/semester/student (~$15/day)
- 5-day option Monthly Plan = $1,050/semester/student (~$13/day)
- Wednesday Only (Middle School Students) = $300/semester/student
- Waiting on Middle School Sibling (free of charge until 4:15)
After School programs
Cost varies, payment due at the time of after-school activity registration in August/December.
