See the Future...Tomorrow!

It's almost here. Tomorrow more than 240 of your closest friends from the GSA community will come together for See the Future — a night of celebration, raising money, and yes, an after-party!

And if you’re cheering from the sidelines this year, you can still be part of the excitement by bidding in the Silent Auction—featuring some incredible items. The auction will close on Sunday at 5:00 PM, so be sure to get your bids in!

More GSA Summer Camps

As mentioned in last week’s On the Horizon, we’re excited to offer a variety of teacher-led summer camps on campus—and here are a few more fantastic options to check out:

Math Bootcamp with Ms. B

Rising 4th–8th Graders |  $385

Join Ms. B for a high-energy week of math exploration! Through storytelling, collaboration, and problem-solving, students will deepen their understanding of key concepts while building confidence and communication skills.

Math Madness!

July 20–24 | 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Rising 3rd–4th Graders | $360

Get ready for a week of problem-solving, creativity, and fun at Math Madness! Designed specifically for rising 3rd and 4th Graders, this engaging summer camp blends essential skill-building with high-energy games, catchy math songs, and hands-on projects that make learning come alive. Each day, campers will explore a thrilling, week-long math mystery alongside Detective Ward, using their growing math skills to uncover clues and crack the case. There’s also dedicated time for personalized, one-on-one coaching to support summer math packets and build confidence where it matters most. And of course—snacks are included! Whether your child loves math or needs a boost, Math Madness is the perfect place to learn, play, and think like a mathematician.

Middle School Boot Camp
July 27–30 | 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Rising 5th–8th Graders | $330

Get ready to hit the ground soaring with Middle School Boot Camp! This essential camp helps students feel confident and prepared for the transition to middle school. Campers will build executive functioning skills, practice routines, and set up Gmail and Google Drive—while also tackling fun team building challenges that build collaboration and confidence. New to GSA? It’s a great way to make friends, learn traditions, and get comfortable on campus. Middle School Boot Camp supports a strong, supportive start for every student!

Kinder Camp 2026
August 3–7 | 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Kindergarteners | $375

A wonderful introduction to GSA! Incoming Kindergarteners will get comfortable with the campus, routines, classmates, and teachers—making the transition into the school year smooth and joyful.

Spots are limited for all GSA camps, so be sure to explore all camp offerings and register on Popsicle.

Beyond the Fence - Community in Action

We’re making meaningful progress on the CUP amendment, and we’re entering an important moment for our community.

We’ve worked in good faith—accommodating 9 of 16 requested concessions and continuing to explore others where feasible. At the same time, it’s become clear that some proposed alternatives are not aligned with practical realities. The decision will ultimately come down to data and analysis; and the GSA is in a well-supported position.

We’ve now cleared a major milestone: the Transportation Review is complete and approved, and our Planning Commission hearing is scheduled for:

Tuesday, April 28 at 6:00 PM at City Hall

This is an important opportunity for our community to be present.

We anticipate some organized opposition, and a visible, thoughtful presence from GSA families will make a meaningful difference.

We are also launching a letter-writing campaign for both current and former families. More details coming next week—we’ll be asking for your help.

Let’s show up the way this community always does: informed, steady, and united in support of our girls!

Talent Show Next Week!

One of the most beloved nights of the year is almost here! The GSA Talent Show is next Friday, April 17 at 6:00 PM, and we’re anticipating a very full campus as our community gathers to celebrate our students.

Parking on campus will be limited. Given the turnout—and recent experiences in the neighborhood—we strongly encourage families to use Uber or ride share whenever possible.

If you do choose to park nearby, please be aware that neighbor interactions have become more active and, at times, uncomfortable. We ask that you remain calm, respectful, and mindful and do not block driveways, follow all posted signage, and avoid engaging if situations feel tense.

Thank you for helping us navigate this thoughtfully so we can keep the focus where it belongs—on our girls and their incredible performances.
