Get ready for the GSA’s biggest fundraising event of the year—our Spring Gala: See the Future!

When: Saturday, April 11 |  6:00–11:00 PM

Yes…Saturday night! Which means you can stay out later and enjoy every minute—including an afterparty with a DJ (NEW this year!) in addition to everything you already love:

• A lively cocktail hour featuring libations and can’t-miss activations
• Food that’s as fabulous as the night
• A thoughtfully curated silent auction full of wow-worthy finds
• A high-energy live auction that will have paddles up all night

Tickets are on sale now!
Early bird pricing runs January 9–February 7:

$275 per ticket (same price as past years—but now includes the DJ afterparty!) or $550 per couple.

After February 7, ticket prices increase to $325.

Lunch Drop-Off Time (Effective Next Week)

To help keep students on schedule and minimize disruptions to classrooms, please note the following lunch drop-off procedure beginning next week:

• If a student drops their lunch, forgets it, or does not have their lunch delivered by 12:00PM, they will be provided an alternative sack lunch from the school.
  
  
• If your child’s lunch arrives after 12:00PM, it will be held in the office and your child may pick it up at the end of the day to take home.

This plan ensures that students are able to eat lunch on time and do not miss valuable instructional time.

Additionally, we will be monitoring the number of alternative lunches provided and will reach out to families if a child is frequently forgetting their lunch or arriving without a suitable meal.

Please note: throwing away a lunch does not qualify a student for an alternative sack lunch. Students are expected to eat what they bring—or have a conversation at home about packing something different.

Middle School Dance - Snowflake Soirée

Austin Jewish Academy is hosting their annual Middle School Dance, and all GSA students in grades 6–8 are invited! This is a fun opportunity for our middle schoolers to connect with students from other schools, meet new friends, and enjoy a great night of music and dancing. Tickets are $30 and must be purchased ahead of time. 

We hope our 6th–8th Graders will join in the fun and represent GSA!

Parent Salon Series

Join us on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 for our next Parent Salon—Middle School by Design:  Where Identity and Intellect Meet–an evening of conversation and community focused on one of the most transformative stages in a girl’s education. While this topic highlights the middle school years, this Salon is open to families from all grade levels (K–8). Whether your daughter is already in middle school or you’re simply looking ahead, we hope you’ll join the conversation.

Together, we’ll explore why these years are so critical to girls’ confidence, identity, and academic growth, and share how GSA is thoughtfully expanding the size of our Middle School to better support students during this pivotal time.

You’ll also get a first look at the site plans for our next building, including how this expansion fits into our long-term vision for exceptional learning spaces and a thriving campus for years to come.

This space will be your go-to source for the latest updates, including key milestones, timelines, and what’s happening on the land as plans move forward.
