Welcoming New Faces to GSA
We’re delighted to welcome two new members to The Girls’ School of Austin community—Kelsey Bannister, our new Finance Assistant, and Lucy Enniss, our new Development Assistant.
Kelsey Bannister joins us from Georgia with nearly a decade of experience in finance and operations. She’s passionate about community-centered work and is thrilled to contribute to our mission through her role on the finance team. When she’s not crunching numbers, Kelsey can be found outdoors with friends, exploring Austin’s restaurant scene, or deepening her yoga practice—she’s currently completing her yoga teacher certification!
Fun fact: Kelsey’s favorite way to unwind is combining mindfulness and movement—ask her about her favorite yoga pose for finding balance!
Lucy Enniss, also a Georgia native, holds a B.A. in Art History from Converse College, an all-women’s institution whose legacy resonates deeply with our own. Her career in development has spanned inspiring organizations including the National Geographic Society, the University of Texas System, and the Texas State History Museum Foundation. Lucy’s passion for the arts, gender equality, and storytelling shines through her work—and her travels with family keep her curiosity sparked.
Fun fact: Lucy spent her summers at Camp Merrie-Woode, an all-girls camp that helped shape her lifelong belief in the power of community and confidence-building for young women.
Please join us in giving Kelsey and Lucy a warm GSA welcome!
