GSA Celebrations

The past month at the GSA has been alive with energy and unforgettable moments! We kicked off the season with our most successful and well-attended Fall Festival yet, followed by a magical Theme Parade on October 31, where our girls embraced the spirit of “Imagine What If” and wowed us with their inventive, whimsical costumes.

On November 7, we opened our doors for Grandparents & Special Friends Day—a day filled with heartfelt connections, laughter, and the unmistakable warmth of our community. Our students also ventured out on field trips to the Cathedral of Junk and ACC’s Makers Forge, and many participated in service learning projects that brought meaningful learning beyond the classroom.

In short—we’ve been BUSY! As we head into the coming week, we hope everyone finds time to find their footing, reconnect, and enjoy the company of family and friends.

If you’d like to revisit some of these recent moments, here are photo albums from two of our standout events:

Middle School Info Night: We Want Your Questions!

If you’re a parent of a current GSA 4th or 5th grader, don’t forget to sign up for Middle School Information Night on Wednesday, December 3, from 6:30–8:00 PM.

Register for Middle School Info Night here.

This year, we’re excited to welcome a panel of “experts”—current and former Middle School parents and recent GSA graduates. Come hear firsthand about their Middle School experience and what life looks like beyond GSA.

As we prepare, we’d love to hear from you.  Please submit any questions you’d like us to address during the program. Submit your questions here.

Firebird Fund • Final Update

What an extraordinary finish, GSA! This community came together and said “Yes!” in a big way. With all but one class reaching 100% participation, and with both our faculty and Board of Trustees also giving at 100%, we closed the Firebird Fund campaign at an outstanding 99% school-wide. This achievement reflects not only generosity, but the remarkable unity and shared commitment that define our school.

Collective giving is powerful—not because of the size of any single gift, but because of what happens when an entire community steps forward together. Your participation strengthens every corner of GSA and fuels the programs, experiences, and opportunities that make our school such a special place for our students to learn and grow.

As a celebration of this collective effort, each class that reached 100% participation will receive a $50 microgrant to support a cause the class chooses together. We can’t wait to see the meaningful projects and acts of service that grow from this effort.

Thank you, Firebirds, for your commitment, your enthusiasm, and your belief in what we can achieve—together.
