GSA Parent Survey

The annual Parent Survey is officially open—and we hope every family will take a few minutes to participate.

Why does it matter? Because this is one of the most important ways we gather feedback from our community. GSA has a strong track record of listening and taking action based on what we hear—from program enhancements to communication improvements and more.

This year, we’re aiming for 100% participation, not just for data—but as a signal of a healthy, engaged school community. There are only a few moments each year when we ask for full participation: the Firebird Fund, the Spring Gala, and this survey

It takes about 20 minutes, and your voice helps shape what comes next. Take the survey and make sure your perspective is part of the conversation!

Talent Show Next Week!

GSA's renown Talent Show is Friday, April 25th at 6:00 PM on the GSA campus. The gate will open at 5:30 PM to start seating and eating.

We will have food from Downtown Burgers and the 8th Grade bake sale (more info below).

Please bring your blankets and lawn chairs. We cannot wait for you to see the amazing performances that our GSA students have been cooking up!

Parking Note:  Please be courteous to the neighborhood around GSA, and do not park in front of driveways, trash cans, or too closely to other vehicles.

8th Grade Bake Sale

The 8th Graders will host their annual bake sale at this year's Talent Show! Families should swing by the MUB porch for some tasty desserts after dinner. The Class of 2025 will have baked goods, popcorn, drinks, and their limited edition friendship bracelets for sale; wear them with GSA pride around campus and to graduation in May! Gluten-free and vegan options will be available. All proceeds go towards their fundraising goals for their class gift to the GSA.

Cash and Venmo are accepted for all purchases.

We Don’t Walk on Eggshells at the GSA… Except This Week
At the GSA, we believe in speaking up, taking risks, and being our full, fearless selves—no eggshell-walking here. But with chicks hatching in the 1st Grade classroom, we’re making one joyful exception.

After days of careful watching (and plenty of classroom speculation), the eggs have hatched! Students have been learning about life cycles, patience, and responsibility while monitoring the incubator—and now they’re witnessing the results firsthand.

The brooder is buzzing with fluffy, wobbly, peeping chicks, and they’ve quickly become the stars of the school day. It’s science in action, curiosity in full swing, and a good reminder to  tread gently—just this once.

Coffee and Conversation

Join us for Coffee & Conversation on Friday, April 25, right after Community Meeting!

Ms.Yacono will be sharing and responding to a collection of Frequently Asked Questions she hears from GSA families.

This isn’t a town hall or Q&A forum, but rather a chance to hear thoughtful reflections on topics parents often wonder about. Whether you're new to the community or just curious to learn more, we’d love to have you join the conversation.  Coffee will be hot. The conversation will be rich. Hope to see you there!
