National Scholastic Art Awards and Accolades are in! We are so proud of these young artists--every one of them. All of our students worked so hard for this competition. We applaud their dedication and beautiful work.

Almost 2,000 works from area High Schools and Middle Schools were adjudicated last weekend, with 300 awards. Congratulations to ALL our competitors--it is a brave thing to put your art out there in the world, and we are so proud of you!

The reception and awards ceremony for all award recipients will take place on Sunday, January 26, 2025, from 1:00-4:00 PM in the Helm Fine Arts Center at St. Stephen's Episcopal School. The School is located at 6500 St. Stephen's Drive, Austin, TX 78746. Entrance to the school is only accessible from Westlake Drive.

Spring Concert Date Change

The evening concerts in the Spring for 6th-8th Graders have changed dates! The 6th-8th Piano concert has been moved to April 23rd and the 6th-8th Strings concert will be on April 24th. The concerts for Kinder-Fifth Grade will remain on their original dates (May 15th & 16th). You can always find the most up to date calendar here.

Hug a Firebird

Valentine’s Day falls on Friday this year and that happens to be a school holiday! So that we can “share the love” with each other, we will celebrate Valentine’s on Thursday, February 13th.

You can expect to hear what’s in store from the girls’ individual classroom teachers on the fun activities they have planned. We encourage the girls to wear their RED or PURPLE polos on the 13th!

Hi! How Are You?

On Friday, January 31st, look for your friendly GSA Trustees to be opening car doors at drop-off. Our fabulous Trustees will be sticking around for Community Meeting and welcome the opportunity to chat with parents afterward. The Trustees will provide coffee and breakfast treats, too! Come by and say, “Hi!”
