October 25th Theme Parade Details: Please Join Us!
We'd like to invite you to join us for GSA's Annual Theme Parade next Friday, October 25th! We are hoping to line the parade route with parent guests. Every year, the students' costumes surprise and delight us, and you will love seeing their confidence and creativity. The parade will begin around 8:10 AM, and we invite you all to be there! Here are a few details you need to know for next Friday: - Your child should wear her costume to school on Friday morning, complete with hair and makeup done.
-
Your child will have a chance to change before lunch if she would like. Please send Friday spirit wear for her to change into. Students may wear their costumes for the rest of the day as long as they are not a distraction in the afternoon.
- If you are joining us for the parade, please park in the neighborhoods and walk up to campus between7:50 - 8:10 AM.
-
Please be careful when parking in the neighborhoods. Make sure you do not move any trash cans or block any driveways. We want to make sure we are good neighbors (and that nobody gets towed!).
- We have a regular pick up schedule that afternoon.
Please email Reagan Ward at rward@thegirlsschool.org if you have any questions! |

Come See the Super Heroes!
Our students have been hard at work in the art studio creating their very own personal super heroes with a wide array of superpowers! As per Ms. Holly Melear's request, please stop by the display cases outside of her art studio and in the front office during your free time and admire our student's most recent artwork.
Thank you so much Ms. Melear for your steadfast dedication towards promoting our students' art! |

Loved from Afar: Send Photos of Your Grandparents and Grand-Friends
In preparation for our Grandparents Day celebration, we are once again preparing a photo table honoring our Grandparents and Grand-friends who have either passed away or live too far to attend. If you would like to honor one of your loves ones at the photo table, please bring a framed photograph of them to school before the event.
Additionally, please ensure to label your framed photograph with your student's name and grade level, and we will return them to you the following week!
Thank you for making this Grandparents Day celebration truly memorable for our girls and their families.

Firebird Fund Update: Week 3
We are now 3 weeks into our 2024 Firebird Fund Campaign, and we are already at 54% participation! Thank you to everyone who has already made a gift!
|
Additionally, we want to give a huge shoutout to our new GSA families who started out STRONG in their first Firebird Fund!
Our beloved Bronson and Cathryn Dorsey encouraged new families to make their meaningful first gift to the Firebird Fund, and they were thrilled to match those gifts up to $10,000. Well, we are delighted to announce that just three weeks into the campaign, our new families have met and
EXCEEDED the match! We are so grateful to our school community for supporting the work we do each and every day, and we'd like to extend a special note of gratitude to our new families who doubled their impact by taking advantage of this matching opportunity.
