Thank You Ms. Molina!

Our beloved Ms. Molina is leaving the GSA to go back to grad school! She will be pursuing her Master's Degree to become a counselor. She has been such a wonderful member of the GSA family, and we will all miss her terribly. But we know she will continue to do great things wherever she goes!

Reminder About Financial Aid for 2024-2025

The Financial Aid deadline is February 1st. Please note that if you are a family currently on financial aid, you need to complete the process again for 2024-2025. In order to be considered for Financial Aid for the 2024-2025 school year, please be sure that you complete the following before February 1st:

Send an email to the Neely stating your intention to apply for financial aid
Complete the PFS on-line and submit it to SSS.

Some common misconceptions around Financial Aid may be, “That’s not for families in our situation,” or “There are other families that may need it more.” Please be assured that if the thought of Financial Aid has ever crossed your mind, it is worth having a conversation! You can find more information about our Financial Aid on our website, including a breakdown of how aid is distributed.

2023 Mini-Grant Recipients

As part of our Firebird Fund campaign, every class that reaches 100% is given a mini-grant to gift to the organization of their choice. After some fantastic conversations with the classes that reached 100%, they have selected their organizations for this year. The conversations around this decision and the questions that were asked showed a profound understanding of all the good work non-profit organizations are doing in our community and our world. GSA students want to make an impact and be part of the solutions to big problems we can see around us. This microgrant was an exciting way to share causes they are passionate about and then support those in a tangible way.

5th Grade- National Wildlife Federation

Spring Gala- Save the Date!

With 2024 on the horizon, please mark your calendars for the event of the year! This spring, we will be celebrating GSA's 21st year with a casino night. We will be at Fair Market (E. 5th St.) on Sunday, April 7th. Be on the lookout for more communications in the new year about how you can help support this exciting event through sponsorship, auction items, and more!
