She's here! Those of you who joined Coffee and Conversation last week got a first look at our newly crafted Portrait of a GSA Graduate!

Crafted after months of thoughtful conversations and design, this portrait encapsulates what our students experience daily: a curriculum tailored to nurture not just their minds, but their hearts and characters too. This inspiring piece will now take its place not just on our walls, but at the core of everything we do, reinforcing our commitment to empowering every student. ⁠

Virtual Coffee & Conversation- Oct. 24

Ms. Yacono would like to provide another opportunity for our busy families to take advantage of her Open Door Policy. Starting at the end of this month, she will be offering a monthly evening Coffee & Conversation on Zoom from 7:00-8:00pm.

These will be come-and-go and very informal. If you just want to jump on and share a short story or ask a quick question-- that's great! If you have a more in-depth (but still relevant to the whole school) question you'd like to discuss-- that's great too! If you have questions that pertain to your particular student, we still encourage you to set a meeting with Ms. Yacono.

We will send out the Zoom link the day before as well as including it in the event on Class Dojo. We are hopeful that this option will allow families to continue getting to know our wonderful Head of School! Feel free to mark you calendars. The dates for these sessions will be:

Grandparents Day- Please RSVP!

Grandparents Day is coming up November 3rd! This is a wonderful day to honor our GSA Grandparents and Grand-friends. We want to emphasize your child is welcome to invite a Grand-friend (any important adult who is NOT a parent).

All of the invitations have been sent via email and mail, but we want to make sure no one is missed! Please share this RSVP link with those loved ones your child is inviting:

It is very important that we have an accurate count for planning purposes.

ALSO, if your child will NOT have a guest attending with them, please email Reagan Ward and let her know. We like to make special plans for those students.

Grandparents Day- Volunteer Sign-Up Now Open!

Grandparents Day cannot happen without the help of our amazing parent community! We wanted to go ahead and get the volunteer sign up out there a month in advance in order for parents to be able to adjust schedules if needed.

Volunteering is the ONLY way for parents to get a glimpse of Grandparents Day, so grab your slot before they are full!

You will see that there are opportunities on Thursday and Friday, as well as slots for dropping off treats. If you would like to volunteer to help with Grandparents Day, please sign up here.

FIREBIRD FUND UPDATE: Week 3!

We are off to one of the fastest starts in GSA history, and we are on pace to reach out goal in record time! We already have three classes with over the 50% participation. Who will be the first to cross the finish line??
