Lower School Stress Workshop

We all have worries and anxiety as a normal part of life. But these have been heightened through the last two years of “pandemic life”, which has introduced additional concerns like extreme loneliness and screen fatigue. In this session, parents will learn some tools and strategies that will help kids identify, regulate and manage fears and anxiety.

Presenter Wanda Montemayor and her colleagues have a private practice working with kids, teens and adults. Previously, she worked in public schools for 24 years, including counseling at a middle school here in Austin.
